Ravel Law is one of my favorite legal tech companies. I love the idea of it. And especially the Judicial Analytics. Today, Harvard Law School announced a joint undertaking with Ravel Law that could be a game changer. What’s most exciting to me is this promise:
Case law for California jurisdictions will be online in November. The full collection of nationwide case law is expected to be digitized and searchable for free by mid-2017, and will be available throughwww.ravellaw.com. Harvard and Ravel have agreed to release the entire database for bulk use by anyone within eight years.
This could be game changer because it will put reasonable analytics and all the case law into the hands of everybody.
